Term 3: Monday 1st August – Friday 7th October
Term 4: Tuesday 25th October – Thursday 15th December
The adjustments have been made to align the October term holiday with the final stages of the Rugby World Cup tournament. It means that terms 1 and 2 are longer than usual and term 4 is much shorter than usual. It begins immediately after Labour Weekend and lasts 7 ½ weeks. Waitangi Day falls on a Sunday next year and Good Friday (22nd April) and Easter Monday (26th April) will occur in the middle of the term holidays, as will
Anzac Day (25th April - the same day as Easter Sunday, which is highly unusual). If you are making holiday plans for next year please be aware of the fact that the school calendar will look somewhat different.
