Our Special Character: Growing Discipleship

Each day at 1:30pm each class has meditation.
The above picture shows the whole school in meditation.
St Peter's is a Catholic intergrated School. It has a special character which requires that the Gospel of Christ is to be both taught and lived. It is very important that this Catholic Character is maintained and we ask for parent support to ensure that this is supported.
All children participate in the religious education programme and attend Masses and other liturgical celebrations that mark important occasions in the Church's year. These Masses are advertised well in advance and it is really important that all families attend so that these are community celebrations - all those associated with the school belong to the St Peters Faith Community. Teachers endeavour to involve as many children as possible in the Liturgy - if children are not going to be able to attend, the school would expect a letter to this effect in advance to the Principal. Daily prayer and Meditation is a feature of each classroom programme.
