ROOM 2

Room 1 and 2 would like to thank Sara Sutherland for making us some fantastic maths resources.

We are enjoying using them to help us learn our maths.

   

 

Jellybean Maths 

 As part of our Fractions unit we used jellybeans to separate objects into sets. Our activity here shows us making ½ of a set of 12 jellybeans.

 Hagley Theatre Company

The Hagley Theatre Group came to St Peter's to perform to us a production about Robin Hood. We loved the show and it made us laugh in places.

 St Patrick's Day 2011

Room 2 dressed in green clothes to celebrate this day.

We had fun activities to do.

One was running a potato and spoon race.  

Sister Mary McKillop

The whole school was able to view a show about the early life of Sister Mary Mckillop.   

This was really important to us as she was recently canonised as a Saint.
