The Board hold in trust for the community the successful education of all children enrolled in the school. The Board has a legal function, and more importantly they need to act with wisdom and judgment to do what is best for the children in our school today to enable them to succeed in an uncertain tomorrow. Our Board consists of five elected parents, three parents appointed by the Bishop (the proprietor of the school) , the Parish Priest, an elected staff member and the Principal. the Board establishes a budget, to best utilise our funding from the government and monitors its use during the year. The Board has also developed a range of policies defining procedures which apply in the school. The Board of Trustees employs the full time school staff.
